Wooden wiper rod made of bamboo. You can use it to dry out the inner bore of the instrument after playing by inserting or pulling the small cloth rag into the instrument while turning it. If you take out the cloth rag and replace it with a piece of kitchen paper, you can use the wiper rod to wipe out the bore of your instrument with a few drops of recorder oil to protect it from moisture. Then remove the kitchen paper, wipe the oil off the wooden wiper rod, replace the cloth rag, and you are ready for the next drying session. Please note: First allow the oil to soak in for at least 24 hours before wiping out your instrument again.
